This is Andrew and me. We've been together for 6 years now and have finished college. We would always talk about moving out, but never committed to actually doing so, up until 6 months ago.
"Where would you want to live?" I wasn't sure how Austin, Texas actually came up. We had friends that live there and heard good things about it, minus the weather I guess haha! My dad also had good things to say about the state and was curious about it, so it was pretty normal to want to go check it out. We visited our friends in Austin, April 2013, for about 5 days. We ate, drank and were merry!
We thought it would be a perfect place for a young couple to start out, and I was quite excited about it all!
Now, September 2013, we started talking about the details of our trip, and told the family. One set of parents had more to say then the other, but over all they all gave us the okay.
It will be an interesting, long drive from Los Angeles to Austin, but I'm so excited about moving out and becoming more independent. This will definitely be an adventure and we are ready for it!
